Honored to be included in La Salle High School's Lancer Magazine for my guest lecture last year. They invited me back last month for a Poem Store performance and Q&A in the library. Looking forward to my next visit.
Saturday, September 7, 2013, 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Drop in anytime; no reservations necessary.
Families of all ages are invited to an interactive free Art & Poetry Workshop, featuring “Poem Store” author/performer, Jacqueline Suskin, an Honorable Mention Award Winner in the 2013 LAMAG Juried Exhibition.
Using a manual typewriter, Ms. Suskin will write one-of-a kind poems especially for families. She will discuss her unique style of creative writing and her experiences as a traveling poet and performer. Participants will use a variety of writing tools and colorful art materials to create drawings inspired by Ms. Suskin’s poetry, as well as their own imaginative poems and stories.
