I'm thrilled and delighted to announce that I'm joining the fantastic ranks of the Turnaround Arts program. As one of their artists, I will have the honor of working with schools around the country, bringing poetry into classrooms, and reminding students that they can build lives from whatever moves them the most. This week I will be in Washington DC at The White House to commemorate my participation with First Lady Michelle Obama and many other talented individuals dedicated to changing the education system. Here is a sneak peak of what this great organization is up to. I'm blown away to be a part of this magic. More to come! #ArtsForChange
