Poems in Public Space

I was thrilled to see my poems enlarged and displayed in the shop windows of Shipwreck Vintage in Eureka, CA. Thank you to the owners of Shipwreck and to Tibora Bea for making this happen! As local shops have closed due to COVID, seeing poetry show up in the windows is a beautiful gesture of relief and connection. I’m honored to see my work included in such a special project and would love to provide more words for the public in such an accessible way.

Pre-Order The Edge of the Continent Volume Three - The Desert!

I’m so excited to announce that today my forthcoming book, The Edge of the Continent Volume Three - The Desert, is now available for pre-order!!! This book explores the richness of my experience in Joshua Tree, a place many view as barren, and exposea its unique offerings through personal narrative. In this collection, I invite readers into the often unseen magic of the desert, a place where silence and open space bring gifts of potent healing and ancient insight to those who are willing to sit still and listen.

NYC Events - Book Release & Writing Workshop

So excited to come to NYC next month and offer up a few poetic moments.

First, I’ll be at the magical Berl’s Brooklyn Poetry Shop on September 11th at 7pm for the release of my new book Help in the Dark Season. My dear friend and long-time editor Matt Phipps will also be reading with me. This event is free and open to all!

Then on September at 6:30pm I’ll be teaching a writing workshop at Otherwild.

This will be a small class, so please reserve your spot ASAP. Cost $40.
